Not I But Christ is the reality that Paul declared as the state of being in which he lived on a daily basis. However, "Not I" was a state of being in Adam as well. Man has never enjoyed one moment of independence. The soul of man has never existed in a state in which it could boast in any accomplishment or acquisition. Everything the soul has ever possessed has been furnished by the one who resides within it. The soul has always been governed and furnished by the presence of a man (Adam or Christ), leaving the soul in either condition without any basis of boasting whatsoever. This episode looks at the absolute force of our condition in Adam, but we also begin to scripturally show the superabounding nature of our state of being in Christ.

In this episode, Daniel Brown and I discuss a very important subject. A prevalent misunderstanding is that Salvation is God reviving a dormant human spirit. However, is that actually the case? Daniel and I present that Salvation is not the restoration of a human spirit, but is the One Spirit of Christ coming into the soul, thus bringing wholeness and spiritual completion. In this episode, our study in the first verses of Romans chapter 7 continues. This session focuses on the phrase, "When you were in the flesh". The past tense of that phrase poses a great difficulty for most who insist on a progressive Salvation that gradually rids us of the fleshly and installs more of the spiritual. This phrase "in the flesh" will be describe in the rest of chapter 7 as a condition that no amount of perfect adherence to law and religious observance can reverse. But we will also witness the only possible fix for and deliverance from such an enslavement. Enjoy.

In this episode, our study takes us into Romans chapter 7. At the beginning of this chapter, Paul will utilize an example of a woman who is married to a husband and how that husband constitutes a governing law that binds her. Paul will show that unless there is the death of this husband, there is no legal deliverance from the law of this man. This session will look at the unrelenting hold of this first husband and the law of that man and the deliverance that God has wrought in the soul that has been joined to another. Remember, Romans 7 and 8 are describing both states of marriage (7 married to the first husband and the results / 8 married to ANOTHER and the results). Enjoy.

The Judgment of God is a very misunderstood subject. While some push it off into the future, others make it a matter of God's continual reaction based upon his assessment of mankind. In this episode, we deal with specific verses in Romans 6 and focus on the thought of judgment. We continue our focus in Romans 6. This time we look at how this reality actually affects the natural body. Is the natural body used as an instrument or a means of producing and evidencing righteousness for those in Christ or is the body intended to serve and an inward reality that supersedes all external evidence? Religion uses the mortal body to achieve and give proof of a righteousness it assumes absent until it is externally seen. However, Paul exposes such passionate pursuits as nothing more than a man being governed by and giving his members over to the sin that is in him and the lust that motivates his every move towards a spiritual end.

In this episode, our study turns to Romans 6 and specifically focuses on the parallel between what is said in Romans 6 and Paul's highly misunderstood words in 1 Corinthians 15. The entire theme of Romans 5-8 can be seen in the phrase "Flesh and Blood Cannot Inherit The Kingdom of God." We look at the questions: When does corruption put on incorruption? When does mortal put on immortality? And if the standard religious interpretations of 1 Cor. 15 are true, why is the law even mentioned? I also apologize for the sound and the loud banging. The recorder was on a metal table and it picked up every movement and each time I touched the table.
