This episode contains much of things previously presented, but around minute 35 the Lord made an emphasis in my own heart concerning the profundity and sufficiency of His gaze being eternally fixed upon One Perfect and Beloved Man. He made sure to me that this is our only ground of boasting and all attempts to violate the settledness of His perspective are perverse and baseless. Please see this as a call to us for deep reflection upon just WHAT IT MEANS TO BE KNOWN OF GOD AND HOW DEEP THAT GOES. Consider what is said carefully.

In this episode, I jump ahead in Romans 8 to see how Paul further validates and substantiates his declaration that there is No Condemnation for those in Christ Jesus. He does so by presenting the basis of such a condition as the Person and Work of Christ Himself.  I also warn against the tendency to ‘personalize” our salvation, a tendency, which has produced and nourished every fallacious religious concept that has ever existed. This is a “super-duper sized” episode. I could have divided it but I felt it would do a disservice to the flow of the session, so pause and stop as much as needed to get to the end of the lesson.

In this episode, we look once again at the soul's passive participation in God's work. We see that the soul had to be and has been acted upon by the power and ability of another in order for that soul to possess anything whatsoever of divine substance. The soul can desire but God must act upon the soul in order for it to partake of anything as to result. What God did is what the soul is brought into by the presence of His Beloved Son. This absolute reality is what God reveals in the soul that looks and sets its affection towards Him. Enjoy.
