TSG269 - Ephesians (Part 23) The Grace That Takes Us To Heaven

Is the experiencing of Salvation an objective or subjective matter? Most measure the answer to this question by assessing their behaviour or seeming personal improvements. However, is this the true metric by which God determines the degree of its efficacy in the soul. Salvation is a work wrought of God and it remains determined by and evidenced in that which God has done. The soul's comprehension and the external changes that will come are not the means of experiencing salvation, the soul that has been brought from death to life has experienced a full salvation, whether it fully comprehends that transaction or not. Yet the Spirit of Truth carries us on it this tremendous realm of spiritual perfection that we may know that which is real and secure from the start. May we set our hearts to know this great salvation.

In this episode, I will begin a study I have entitled “In Light of The Transition”. By this, I mean to examine particular areas of the scripture in view of a tremendous and divinely wrought transition by which all that God promised and prophesied are brought entirely to their consummate end in Christ and the New Covenant. We must recognize that this transition has brought about an absolute change that is widely ignored in the larger segment of Christian thought. In this first installment, we will examine Malachi 4 and the sending of Elijah, the prophet, before the great and terrible day of the Lord.
