Daniel and I present that Salvation is not the restoration of a human spirit, but is the One Spirit of Christ coming into the soul, thus bringing wholeness and spiritual completion. In this episode, our study in the first verses of Romans chapter 7 continues. This session focuses on the phrase, "When you were in the flesh". The past tense of that phrase poses a great difficulty for most who insist on a progressive Salvation that gradually rids us of the fleshly and installs more of the spiritual. This phrase "in the flesh" will be describe in the rest of chapter 7 as a condition that no amount of perfect adherence to law and religious observance can reverse. But we will also witness the only possible fix for and deliverance from such an enslavement. Enjoy.

In this episode, our study takes us into Romans chapter 7. At the beginning of this chapter, Paul will utilize an example of a woman who is married to a husband and how that husband constitutes a governing law that binds her. Paul will show that unless there is the death of this husband, there is no legal deliverance from the law of this man. This session will look at the unrelenting hold of this first husband and the law of that man and the deliverance that God has wrought in the soul that has been joined to another. Remember, Romans 7 and 8 are describing both states of marriage (7 married to the first husband and the results / 8 married to ANOTHER and the results). Enjoy.

We continue our focus in Romans 6. This time we look at how this reality actually affects the natural body. Is the natural body used as an instrument or a means of producing and evidencing righteousness for those in Christ or is the body intended to serve and an inward reality that supersedes all external evidence? Religion uses the mortal body to achieve and give proof of a righteousness it assumes absent until it is externally seen. However, Paul exposes such passionate pursuits as nothing more than a man being governed by and giving his members over to the sin that is in him and the lust that motivates his every move towards a spiritual end.

We share how the believer is indwelt by the fullness of God in the Person of Christ from the moment of new birth, which leaves the soul not lacking anything at all.
