(Part 1 of 2) Having just finished presenting the commonality of a single corrupt source (Adam) for both Jew and Gentile, Paul will now show Abraham himself as the link between both. He not only uses him as a link as to the timing of promise vs. circumcision but just as importantly concerning the shared state of deadness and incapacity that demands faith and grace to be the only means of righteousness for both Jew and Gentile. We will also tackle one of the most mistreated verses in the Bible, by keeping it within its original context and uncovering the immense weight of Paul’s meaning concerning the miracle wrought by God, not only in Abraham but in the soul of all who believe.

In this lesson, we will end our look at Romans 2. Here are some things said and covered in this episode.
The value of the name and distinction of Jew is great, but ONLY IF THE EXTERNALS THAT GAVE THAT NAME WORTH IN THE ECONOMY OF GOD ARE REALIZED AND SUBSTANTIATED THROUGH THE INTERNAL POSSESSION OF THEIR FULFILLMENT. 
Nothing external, nothing available to the senses of man can prove or disprove the sufficient nature of the INTERNAL CONDITION. Because the internal condition is fixed upon and settled within the MAN who abides within, the man to whom the soul is joined.
The profitability of the circumcision as a sign in the flesh is solely actualized if and when the outward sign is complemented or confirmed fully by the reception of the internal reality for which that outward symbol stood testimonially.
