In this Table Talk episode, I will share some thoughts concerning a couple of verses in Hebrew. These verses have been misinterpreted and misappropriated to cause a great deal of anxiety for Christians, causing many to question the very foundation upon which we stand. In understanding the verses like this, we have to consider the context very carefully. This is my approach in this episode. I ask you to share this with those who are facing the fears that many are enduring due to the unfortunate mishandling of verses such as these.

In this episode, we will explore Paul's words in Galatians 3 concerning Abraham believing God and it reckoned to him as righteousness. We take this into a short comparison between covenant and contract to demonstrate how God has chosen to relate to our souls upon the basis of Covenant instead of contract. We will see the certainty of God's Covenant with Abraham, His Promise and show how that is valid today in much more certainty through Christ within. We will see how God's promise and performing in us is due to Covenant where He provides all things according to His own sufficiency instead of what we believe to be a contractual obligation in which we have to hold up our end of the agreement (spoiler - we cannot). Just as Abraham was brought into a Covenant divinely established previous to his reception into it, we have no active roll in determining the sureness of Salvation, but we can rest assured in the sufficiency of the One who is the New Covenant in us.

Throughout the centuries, theologians and denominations have attempted to place the reality of our Salvation within a multitude of categories. Unitarian, Trinitarian, Baptist, Pentecostal. Paul faced this in respect to Circumcised and Uncircumcised, Jew and Gentile. However, Paul stood upon a higher reality that had greater authority than either of those human distinctions - NOT I BUT CHRIST. The sufficiency of Christ within, having been received and revealed in Paul, held him firmly to declare the exceeding greatness of a Salvation that is ABOVE and thus beyond the superficiality of taking sides and choosing which box we fit into. We stand upon the sureness of an uncategorizable Salvation.

Hi guys. This is another extra episode that touches on many of our previous statements. However, a fresh emphasis and burden has happened in me to focus on answering how such a comprehensive and overarching statement such as THERE IS NO CONDEMNATION (as well as others) can be penned by the Apostle Paul and yet be debated and denied by most of our religious creeds and doctrines. I want us to understand how the words, although they are undeniably wonderful, are met and answered by an exceedingly wonderful Salvation in the Beloved Son. Enjoy.

In this episode, we are focusing on the need for patience in the heart of the believer. While many wrongly dispensationalize the nature of waiting in Christ, those of us in Christ wait in a state of fullness, not for a fullness to come. The Judgment of God is a very misunderstood subject. While some push it off into the future, others make it a matter of God's continual reaction based upon his assessment of mankind. In this episode, we deal with specific verses in Romans 6 and focus on the thought of judgment. I trust this will be helpful to clarify the nature of God's judgment and its relation to the believer.

The Dominion of Sin does not have to do with the continual performing of evil deeds but about where or IN WHOM you are abiding. We focus on that thought during this new episode, hopefully clarifying what is a very misunderstood portion of this letter.

We continue our focus in Romans 6. This time we look at how this reality actually affects the natural body. Is the natural body used as an instrument or a means of producing and evidencing righteousness for those in Christ or is the body intended to serve and an inward reality that supersedes all external evidence? Religion uses the mortal body to achieve and give proof of a righteousness it assumes absent until it is externally seen. However, Paul exposes such passionate pursuits as nothing more than a man being governed by and giving his members over to the sin that is in him and the lust that motivates his every move towards a spiritual end.

In this episode, our study turns to Romans 6 and specifically focuses on the parallel between what is said in Romans 6 and Paul's highly misunderstood words in 1 Corinthians 15. The entire theme of Romans 5-8 can be seen in the phrase "Flesh and Blood Cannot Inherit The Kingdom of God." We look at the questions: When does corruption put on incorruption? When does mortal put on immortality? And if the standard religious interpretations of 1 Cor. 15 are true, why is the law even mentioned? I also apologize for the sound and the loud banging. The recorder was on a metal table and it picked up every movement and each time I touched the table.

In this episode, John Kucera, Richard Mixon and I discuss the absolute sufficiency of New Birth. We share how the believer is indwelt by the fullness of God in the Person of Christ from the moment of new birth, which leaves the soul not lacking anything at all. Thus, the revealing of Christ is the revealing of the new birth and all its perfections.
